im calling it know both Doms are know for their foot work and similar style and Prochazka and Garbrant for their power and recklessness i think it would go similar with a brutal Jiri Ko over Dom Jiří-Procházka-vs-Dominick-Reyes-1.png

There needs to be some kind of middle ground between boxing's style of overprotective match-making and the UFC throwing guys to the wolves.

Tune up fights for top guys after brutal losses should be more normal.

This is a fucking stupid fight to give Reyes.

Also, there's no reason whatsoever for past prime name fighters like Anderson to be fighting ranked opposition.

Agreed for Anderson but if Reyes signed the contract what's the problem here? Jiri has power but his only UFC win is Oedzemir. I'd rather he proves himself worthy of his ranking with a win over Dom than giving the Dom fight to someone like Johnny Walker.

I think Reyes takes this one against Jiri who's still relevantly green, predictable movement and keeps his hands low enough for Dominick to easily take over on the standup, just don't be afraid of his power and go for the kill.. if he plays it safe like the Jon Jones fight than yeah it's anyone's guess.

Weird comparison. What percentage of your reasoning behind making this thread is just because two of the fighters are named Dominick? Be honest.
you ve got me and jiri and cody s similar hair and beard style Lol naaah i do think there is some truth in this Jiri has the style to knock Reyes several times

This is the UFC that we're talking about. The pressure comes from the top down.

after what Jan did to him i don t think he would be not afraid of power for some time lol

Am I the only one we thought Jiri looked pretty bad against Volkan before the KO ? I wasn't impressed.

Reyes looks like he could have sixteen ribs in that thumbnail. How long / short are his legs??

He looked very sloppy, albeit explosive and powerful. Luckily for him there's not too many technicians in the LHW division that could really make him pay for his sloppiness and pick him apart. However at some point he's gonna get caught and brutally KO'd.

this is the main way they attempt to control outcomes imo and make an unpredictable sport as predictable as possible in order to make the most money. I'm not gonna bother explaining to those who dont understand this, but good examples listed here, and remember, its about BOTH ends.
