In last night post fight press conference.

gotta love how bald goof failed to recognize those were title fights and number 1 contender fights + Yoel could have easily won most if not all of those decisions.

except for the first Whittaker fight, all his other losses could have (IMO, should have!) gone his way. Especially the Costa loss and the 2nd Whittaker fight.

no hespect. Meanwhile, Diego Sanchez still has a job LOL

He knew Romero was going to destroy all his potential next stars in the MW division.

How can Chimaev or Till become the MW no1 contender when you must get through romero to get that place ? ( Romero destroys them both the same night ... )

Romero is our rightful MW champ, some can argue he is the " best " Middleweight of all time ...

do you want him to tell you that they are trimming the fat to roll out a slightly different business direction in the face of the "new world" we have entered? Yoel lost what he has lost, hes 44 and not getting another title shot....whereas he could goto another promotion and possibly capture a belt before he retires.....its probably in his best interest to move on from the UFC at this point....

its also possible that he popped((since they dont publicize the results anymore...or do so at their own discretion)) and instead of serving 2 years under USADA they let him go so he could sign somewhere that isnt under USADA....

Boring fighter for most of his fights. Getting an exciting finish when everything up to that point was boring, doesn't constitute exciting fighter IMO.

Won the Costa fight at best of all the decisions. Stoolgate on numerous occasions.

Bye Felicia.

Love Yoel, but they were never going to give him another title shot after the performance against Adesanya (can't get my head around anyone thinking he won that fight) and at his age he might not have liked the matchups they were offering him.

The hysteria over this guy being shown the door is hilarious to me. His last fight alone is more than enough reason to cut him. I saw a post earlier today saying he was the best MW today, and ever. If that were remotely true I'd love to know how he has only one win in his last five fights. I don't care who the opposition was. The best MW fighter today, and ever wouldn't have lost all those fights.

Too overrated, and I just don't see the big attraction. He can still fight, and you huge fans can keep watching him. What's the problem? And what about what Dana said is BS? Those look like a thing I like to call, facts.

I was never a fan in any event, but his stock really dropped (in my opinion) after he spent the majority of the fight versus Costa attempting to play rope a dope with his tongue hanging out. His brains must be curdled.

He was robbed vs Izzy, and vs Costa. How can you cut the guy that arguably beat the champ ?

The guy won the lottery and was gifted a title shot he did not deserve (having already lost two TS's previously). And far from "leaving it all in the cage" he put on what may have been the most low energy, low output performance in UFC championship history.

This was a smart and fair cut by the promotion.

Anything USADA related was dismissed, Dana even said it had nothing to do with it. Even if he is a lying SoB, he wouldn’t mess with that. Hence, keep the subtle bashing elsewhere...

or what?

I didnt catch Dana saying that, if he did he did...then I would say its definitely less of a possibility but still not out of the realm of possibilities, even without Dana saying that I would lean towards they are just trimming the fat so to speak...

Keep your subtle threats in your mouth where you can swallow them instead of in your ass where they will fuck you
