Why was Todd Duffee removed from tonight's fight ?

Duffee was originally scheduled to fight Gian Villante as the opening fight on Prelims.
Now his name is replaced by Jake Collier.
Can't find anything about it in a search or anywhere, and can't find anything about it on Sherdog.
There was a Duffee thread a couple days ago, and made no mention of the fight, so maybe sherdoggers didn't know he was scheduled to fight tonight originally ?
Anyone know what happened ?
 
Maybe the source (wiki) was originally incorrect about the matchup, and then corrected it.
Because I can't find anything about an originally scheduled fight between the 2.
But I am 100% certain that they listed Villante vs Duffee, just a matter of days ago.

It's a running joke. This isn't the first time someone has amended info to show a Villante vs Duffee fight.

EDIT Even Helwani gets taken in sometimes...

I was under the impression that when someone amended info on wiki, that is unverified like a joke you mentioned, that it always appeared in red lettering. But this was not. So I'm still a bit confused

I'm actually disappointed, because for days, I kept thinking that's a great matchup for each of them, and a pretty even matchup too.
 
Maybe he ate a bad burrito? Still recovering from the HFoD?

I saw it too and I find it weird nobody talked about this.

If it was a mistake then it would make sense

its Duffee....trying to force his name in there himself to get some steam towards a callback from the UFC
 
Am I the only one that thinks Duffe would absolutely murder Viliante? I'm not even sure Gian takes this sport seriously, he's just seems too stubborn to go work a 9-5

even as bad as he looked his last few fights i think we would still all agree. villante has no business at all at HW
