Good pick on Chael being number 1. I agree he's the best trash talker in MMA. He rustles people's jimmies and make people hate his guts without even saying the "F" word, sexual terms, and profanity in all of his thrash talk records. You got guys like Conor, Diaz bros, Bisping etc., take out all the times they said the "F" word and cussing and pretty sure their trash talking game won't sound the same and won't have the same impact. Uncle Chael is still the best.

Most of Sonnen's quips are pre-rehearsed. If he has a press conference coming up, he'll be deadly at the PC. But it's live on location and he has to wing it, he's very ordinary. Cruz is very good. He dismantled Dillashaw during a live interview. Conor should be higher on the list.

These 3 are basically the only trash talkers.

I don't consider Bisping a trash talker cause he's just aggressive towards his opponents. Like there's no persona or jokes or anything.

Lot's of guys have been aggressive like Bisping... BJ, Jones, Diaz bro's, Yair, Mike Perry... half the roster basically. Only Bisping has the most finesse. But I still wouldn't put him in the same category as Conor, Chael or Colby.

Then there's dudes with charisma, not really classic trash talkes, like Rampage... then there's presence personas like Brock... there are a few.

And then there's Tito Ortiz - the dyslexic trash talk GOAT, closely followed by Luke Rockhold.

Early Conor was hilarious! Any more his material has just become cringe AF. We'll see what he says in the lead up to the DP rematch. Some of his best material was before the first fight with Dustin.
