Who y’all got? Pineda, who has a 100% finishing rate, looks to be entering his prime at 35 and Cub looks to be out of it at 37.

I'm kinda surprised to see Cub back. Shields really fucked up his knee at Quintet earlier this year.

I'd say Cub easy, but after all those hand troubles - he's lacking teh power. And has a lot of miles on him in general. Cub's still the superior mixed martial artists and I'm rooting for him.

Damn. I had no idea about this. Thanks for sharing.

My timeline was off. It was actually last December so we're coming up on a year since his knee injury. It's enough time to fully recover but at 37 with a lifetime of combat sports that knee just isn't going to be the same. Here's a recap showing how it happened.

For those that aren't familiar with Quintet, there are no heel hooks allowed but you can still reap the knee or play 50/50 to set up other subs or sweeps. Cub just moved the wrong way in a position that he doesn't drill much.

What was the banned substance pineda popped for 2 fights ago?

Pineda has been a decently big underdog for his last 3 wins. Ill take him by upset sub in the 3rd.
