Ufc lacking a plan B for a main event falling off card is inexcusable in 2020

Ufc needs to have a solid backup for any fight that may fall through on the main card, especially the main event. We are in pandemic times, so they gotta go the extra mile instead of conforming to circumstance.

there's no incentive for the UFC to stack a fight night card, people will still tune in to whatever the new main event is.

It's not like they are making money from it, just hope the card is worth listening to "He said mum, I'm gonna be famous one day" 100 times

Its hard to have a backup when you have cards this often. Really wish the UFC, especially during COVID would go back to monthly. Then losing a single fight wouldn't crush the card.

Not sure how much of an extra mile one would hope for on a Fight Night card. They just move everything up. It's not like there is live audience that would now be pissed off with what's the main event. I'm sure they feel they are going the extra mile just to put on safe cards. We can talk about the number of cards put on and how fewer cards would allow for more stacked cards but that is a conversation often had on here that we all agree with.

They are having difficulties even getting the cards filled as is, let alone backups.

Fighters should just be able to sign a Covid waiver. Guys fight with staph and all other kinds of infections all the time

UFC SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE A CRYSTAL BALL TO PREDICT THE FUTURE AND HAVE CONTIGENCY PLANS IN PLACE FOR ALL POSSIBLE REALITIES! THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!!!!!!

Imagine trying to train like a champion, having that diet in order to make weight properly, hiring a team, paying training partners, leaving your family and missing your children growing up...I mean the list goes on and on and not just expenses all just for the small possibility of fighting ? That crazy grind all day everyday, going the extra mile when your body can hardly do anything all the time, never skipping anything or cheating when you eat all to maaaaaybe fight and then when you don't you don't get win money and possibly a fraction of what your show money would be? Then the UFC has to pay everyone? It's just not even reasonable. On a ppv sure, here and there I think they should. People are really not using their brains or considering what such an undertaking entails. It's insane to me how entitled and stupid people are these days, blows my mind that most can't at least try and consider how all that would work.

Somehow everything is just magical to some fans like they live in a lala land. "I don't get why they don't just have other guys ready to fight" "I don't know why the #1 and #2 guys don't just fight" "why is weight cutting a problem, I could fix it easy *enter stupid fix* "etc. Apparently some fans just don't understand anything.
