Not saying it's the best ever with 100% certitude because there have been other great free cards but on paper it's fantastic and imho one of the best cards of 2020.

- Khamzat vs Edwards : Biggest/most hyped prospect in the UFC vs One of the top WW in the world. May have future titlke shot implications

- Wonderboy vs Neal : #5 ranked WW and former title contender vs hot upcoming prospect Neal who is on a 7 fights win streak

- Tybura vs Hardy : HW clash between 2 middle of the road guys. Could be good

- Morales vs Font : #3 ranked BW and former title contender vs #11 ranked contender who could be on his way up the ladder

- Jose Aldo vs Marlon Vera : Former FW champ , legend and one of the GOAT vs a guy who is 6-1 in his last 7 and coming off a big win against O'Malley. And a good finisher on top of that

And i'm gonna stop there because because there is no point in dissecting every fight on the card but just those fights make for a fantastic free card that could totally be worthy of being a PPV

I'm totally looking forward to Dec 19th. Will it deliver ? Maybe or maybe not but on paper it's just a great card full of potential entertaining fights. Good job by the UFC on this one. It sort of makes up for the recent lackluster PPV cards

It's pretty great. Wonderboy/Neal, Moraes/Font, Aldo/Vera could all easily be fight night headliners. Pretty amazing how much they stacked that card.

Not gonna get excited these days until fight night though.... realistically 3 of those fights will be cancelled and we'll have a card full of low level WMMA.

Covington vs Woodley was pretty great.

If the UFC had half a brain this card would have been a PPV event a couple of days ago instead of the trash they expected people to pay for.

Yeah Colby/T-Wood and Shogun/Sonnen were quite good for free cards too. I think this one has a bit more depth to it though but that's certainly debatable

100% with you on this

This card has a better lineup than most paid PPVs they put out this year

Only one that comes close to it in recent times was the Eddie vs Dustin 2 card. This Edwards card is fuckin crazy.

Yes, thats an outstanding card!

It's hard to say because I've been conditioned to accept these watered down cards. But in our current environment it's stacked and I'm grateful for it.

So much time for fighters to pull out.

If it remains the same, I shall be doing an all nighter for this one.

Their lack of logic sometimes blows my mind.

Fans will watch free events no matter how crappy the cards are but most will only pay for compelling cards. The Saturday night event I bet it did less than 100k buy rate.

And yet this free card will get millions of viewers good or bad.

I wonder if Khamzat is a factor in how they stacked UFN 183. I mean is there a better way to to build a money making superstar then to put him in the main event of a free stacked card against one of the best WW in the world with the winner possibly getting a title shot right after after ? Lots of people (casuals and hardcore fans alike) will likely watch with all eyes being on Khamzat. His hype is already sky high but if he destroy Edwards its gonna amplify x 100 with the mainstream/casuals. I could be totally wrong but but i wouldn't be surprised if that's what they had in mind when they stacked the card through the roof.

That said if it's true or partially true this could backfire if Edwards mop the floor with Khamzat and end up winning a clear cut but boring decision. It's quite a bit of a gamble

The again it,s probably just me reading into this way too much lol

as far as fight nights go I would be intrigued to hear one close to the greatness of this one.
