What happened to Steve Bosse?? French Canadians what do you know?

Dude was 12-2, with his only loss in the UFC being due to Thiago Santos (who turned out to be quite good), and was on a 2-fight win streak before he sort of vanished. Anyone know? I looked at his Wiki and he was scheduled in 2017 to face Cannoiner but pulled out for undisclosed reasons. No mention of retirement or anything.
