If Cejudo could still make 125 he wouldn't make the mistakes Perez made in the grappling and would do a better job mixing it up. That said he's not making 125, and Fig's more interesting fights are against the ELITE'S at 135.

Very tough to call, I'd just still give the edge to MM

However MM is 34 which is old for the lower weight classes where things like speed, reflexes matter much more than at the heavier weight classes.

I dont think MM has too much wear and tear from fighting in the UFC for decades to effect his abilities enough. Mainly because he is such a smart fighter and has been so dominant and hasnt been in many wars where he leaves the fight badly hurt and has to heal for months

One of the commentators said that Figgy may have weighed close to 150 in this fight.

This means that Figgy is physically a true BW but can surprisingly make Fly anyways, aside from looking absolutely shredded in there that is.

As for this matchup? It's a toss up for me since both Cejudo and MM are comparable to each other but whatever performance Figgy is pulling off against contenders is seriously making waves.

He's also a strong asf dude. MM and Cejudo aren't going to like that at all.
