I always thought you had to push back the arm but he's turning the arm. Is that how it works? And do you always turn that way?

The shoulder goes back into the joint like a vacuum. As long as the bones line up it usually goes back in. Just him straightening it out, is basically pulling. Remember, there's already slackBut you don't see him pulling though?

Oh yeah!! After several shoulder dislocations in my life, that is the best feeling in the world when you get that back in!
