If you are just looking to wrestle with no setup, good luck beating Izzy, who has pretty solid TDD.

You need to mix up striking and wrestling and Izzy's come a long way since the Marvin Vettori fight. in his TDD.
 
Why are everybody bringing up Vettori fight evrytime ? Did you all really watch that fight ? Marvin had some success on the ground but except that Izzy dominated him.

Also he worked a lot on his TDD since that fight. That's why Derek Brunson ( a better wrestler than Marvin) couldn't do shit despite his multiple TD attempts.

Izzy’s belt is disputed until he beats Georges.
 
It's just not that easy to take down Adesanya, dude has very good TDD. In fact there is no easy game plan against Adesanya. He's just a very unique fighter.

Exactly, even Olympic silver freestyle medalist Yoel Romero had no success in the wrestling as the few Td's he attempted were either defended or Adesanya just popped right back up.

Romero was never fully committed to his wrestling his against Adesanya, he only shoots 2 or 3 takedowns against Izzy. Israel has shown that he can defend blast double pretty well, but we've never seen him defending takedowns against grapplers that can chain wrestle, like Khabib or Cejudo.

romero's offensive wreslting aint really good in the cage, he never goes 100 %, scared to gass.
 
Well, it's the same thing with Khabib when so many people are like "pffff, just don't get taken down and you'll win!". Easier said than done, good luck shooting when Israel is so good at keeping his opponents at bay.
 
A good wrestler with a good chin beat him 9 out 10 I agree. But they are not too many.
 
Izzy was slick in the ground against Gas, pretty sure he’s here to stay as MW for a long time
 
Everyone seems to freeze against him. Izzy has the mind game won. Silva arguably won the fight against him. There are not too many Anderson Silva type boxers out there. OK none.

Lol no he didn't, where do you guys come up with this bullshit? First it's the Vettori fight where Vettori inflicted no damage and had two takedowns in the last round that he did nothing with, now its Silva won?
