Everyone knows that the bodyshots in the 4th round of their rematch really emptied DC's gas tank and set him up for the finish.

Everyone expects Stipe to do the same thing he had success with last time which is the body shots and for DC to utilize more wrestling, clinchwork, dirty boxing and not allow Stipe to blast away at his range.

However, someone else pointed out that DC was tired, not gassed, by the 4th round and that helped Stipe's body shots.

Look at the clip here, DC is tired and Stipe throws a fairly lazy body shot with his right hand not up defending his face.

If DC is fresh he could perhaps quickly counter the body shot. DC may have quicker hands than Stipe.

So, if Stipe comes out and doesn't immediately start throwing body shots and loses some may say, "Why didn't Stipe use the body shot!!! It won him the last fight!!! Now not using them cost him the rubbermatch."

In reality, if Stipe comes out throwing unprotected body shots like in the gif against a fresh and fast DC he could lose just as quickly.

So, just if Stipe loses to DC and doesn't use a lot of body shots, remember there maybe a reason he didn't use them initially and if he did it could have also cost him the fight.

DC will be busy trying to eye poke Stipe. All Miocic needs to do is to close his eyes while throwing body shots

stipe is definitely going for the body again. question is whether DC has come up with an answer for it. we'll probably know in the 1st round.

That body shots not lazy its set up with that slight feint jab

If he doesn't throw any body shots and loses the fight then they might have a point. He had success with it in the last fight. He knows it's a tool he can use if the opportunity arises.

If Stipe throws a body shot and gets KO'd by DC like Chuck did against Rampage that'd be crazy.

Everyone be like, "Yeah, throw that body shot!".....and then, "Awwww shit....what happened! I can't believe it!!"
