This is their first fight where Israel was robbed of the decision but judge for yourself.

Here is the rematch. Most everyone knows the final result. But Israel was spanking Periera here as well even worse. The ref saved Akex by giving him a ridiculous standing 8 count. In the end Israel gets sloppy and the rest is history.

Alex did show growth between each of these fights and has improved even more since then but for the few trolls who believe he's Israel's nightmare or miles ahead of him in striking, well their fights show otherwise.

Also Alex will NEVER have the same success in MMA because his defense is too reliant upon those big gloves.

In B4 Israel KOed GIF

Expect it and accept it playboy

Can't get robbed in a KO loss but he was winning both of those fights handily. Anyone who uses that GIF to hate on Israel only expose themselves as either 1) Weak Trolls 2) Mindless Haters or both.

You dont get robbed by having your jaw sent to the 3rd row bud
Fair enough. But without the referee's ridiculous intervention, there was a strong possibility that Alex would have been stopped. The standing 8 count was uncalled for and gave him time to recover.

Brazilians will be Israel’s Achilles heel

All Natty Bless

Agreed, izzy won the first and got sloppy in the second, but as he himself have Said, his style actually does not fit all that well for Kickboxing, as he does not really use the gloves as much as Pereira does. In MMA everything just fits perfectly though, and it will be showcased once more when he makes a fool of Costa.

True. But this isn't one of those cases.

You have your opinion, I have mine. We can sit and argue about so many fights that have had outcomes similar to the decision loss that Izzy got but it didn't look like it came as a huge surprise to him after the fight.

He got KO'd in the second fight, so he didn't get robbed.

However, he clearly won the first fight, and he was getting the better of Pereira in the rematch before he got starched.

People who've only seen the KO gif assume that their fights were non-competitive.

Adesanya also got robbed against Jason Wilnis. He should've been the Glory MW champ.

Dude was a legit top level kickboxer. He's one of the most successful pro athletes to have competed in two sports.

That's clearly not the case with Adesanya and Pereira though.

Alex won a close decision. Izzy didn't look all to surprised with the outcome. They rematched, Izzy got KO'd.

That is why I feel the way I do.

I feel this fight was closer than the first fight with Alex. But yes they were giving Israel no respect on Glory.

Didn't feel like Adesanya beat Jason though. Flashy moves but never rocked Jason. He didn't beat him to the point of winning the fight.
