Tanner Boser (17-6-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is set to take on Philipe Lins (14-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) next month. MMA Junkie confirmed the booking with a person with knowledge of the matchup following an initial report from Combate.com.

The June 27 event is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and is likely to air on ESPN and stream on ESPN+.

Good fight, although it's one of those rare HW fights that will probably go to a decision.

Tanner Boser is absolutely legit, and I expect him to lump up Lins.

I've been hearing Boser's name for quite a while it seems like. Suprised to hear he's only 28. He's fought some good vets in his few years in the sport. I'm hoping he takes it.

I remember when he got sparked out by Hague in like six seconds.

props to him for avenging that loss though.

Yeah, his first career loss and the only time he's been KOd.

Getting stopped in 6 seconds has gotta be a wakeup call.

Quick turnaround fight for Lins. He just fought Arlovski

So, how is the Canadian getting to Vegas? UFC have some knowledge about a change in travel plans for June perhaps?

Anyway, I don't care about this one - two pretty dull-to-watch HWs. Lins looked awful against Arlovski and Boser is like watching paint dry but a tough guy. Someone wins a split decision.
