There was a time when Aldo, not only lost his title in 13 seconds to Conor, but also proceeded to get beat by Max twice. Shortly after that bout not only were some fans saying Aldo was done, but apparently that Max was the GOAT FW after he proceeded to demolish the undefeated Ortega. Also, Conor was on top of the world after he became the UFCs first ever simultaneous champ champ.

Now, in early 2020, everything is falling into place and the truth is being exposed for the world to see. Conor turned out to be the biggest hype job in the sport, failing to defend a single title and being rightfully stripped. Max failed to defend his FW title more than 3 times, which proves that he was nowhere near the GOAT fw to begin with.

And Jose Aldo is now about to win a second belt and attain glory once again... Legend lives on.

Dude, come on. Aldo is awesome, and the FW GOAT, but Conor has transcended MMA. He was the first 2 time champion. He wasn't a hype job, he backed it the fuck up. And yeah, Max is one dimensional.
 
If you can't succeed,

drop weight classes and fight people naturally lighter.

Dude, he said he was going to beat Chad, he beat chad. He said he was going to beat Aldo, he beat him in 13 seconds. He said he was going to beat Eddi, he did. He said he was going to win the rematch against diaz, he did.

You don't need to defend a belt to be not considered a hype job. stop letting your hate blind you.

He also never gave anyone a rematch and begs for rematches when he loses. Also he said he was gonna beat 13 loss Nate the first time and tapped the fuck out bro.
 
It kinda just proves that people need to settle the hell down with worrying about who the next GOAT is every time there's a new champ. "ZOMG! He got a title defense! Is he the GOAT???? He beat this one fighter, does that mean he's P4P #1 GOATastic history star ever ever?" No, Tyron wasn't the next WW GOAT, McGregor or Holloway weren't the next FW GOATs, Weidman wasn't the next MW GOAT, etc. Let history play out before trying to write fighter's legacy.
 
Don't forget about the USADA incident when Aldo intentionally spilled his you know what.
