Why would he fight the bigger and taller Cowboy at WW?

The same reason Cowboy isnt cutting to LW I’d say. Both are around the same size and hop around divisions so why bother with a weight cut?

Because believe it or not going up in weight does not actually improve your skillset, and his was tailor made for conrad

At WW, Conor has:
$ Cowboy
$$ Diaz
$$$ Masvidal
$$$$$$ GSP

Retire.

Wins 1 of 4, maybe 2 of 4 , 3x out of 10

I kinda feel the same way. If you have two fighters not in title contention, who cares if they agree to fight at a catchweight or up a division.

Conor retires if he loses to Cowboy and retires win or lose if he fights Khabib after that.

If he loses it won't effect his BS ranking at 155, if he wins it will set up a fight with Jorge (if Khabib turns it down). He can improve his image at 170, if Khabib refuses maybe he'll go after the 170lb belt.

Idle hands are the devil's playthings

At first Conor called out Frankie Edgar at 145.
Dana thought that didn't make any sense so Conor called out Cowboy at 170.

The real question here is why Conor is ducking 155 if he wants a title shot at 155?

But McGregor is in title contention at 155 if he beats Cowboy at 170 according to Dana White......... Yes, I agree, that sounds absolutely retarded but that's what Uncle Daddy said.

Only wanted Frankie or Cowboy for a TS

Khabib better hold out no matter how much dough they throw his way goddammit

He called out Edgar at 155
No way he was going back to 145

Because he’s a fucking arm chair fighter at this point. He’s basically a much better version of Rousey. Knows his limits and where he will lose. He’s playing duck duck goose.

Because Justin Gaethje frequents that division.

Yeah, buy this one if you like set-up fights for a washed up fighter who was never any good outside of a division he can't make anymore. Absolutely cannot understand the interest in this.

He was going to fight Frankie at 145.

Now he is trying to set up a fight with Masvidal.

So he can fight Masvidal duh.

Conor vs Masvidal is probably the most profitable realistic matchup out there, second to none, boxing uncluded.

All he needs to do is beat Cowboy and he's off to making another 100mil, whiskey sales included.

Nate's star is gone, GSP is just not as big as Mas right now, and Khabib is just a problem negotiation wise.

Mas matchup is butter. They're both willing to make a ton of cash. They even have a fake belt they can fight for. It's all set up in advance.

And if Conor somehow beats Mas at WW ?! Holy shit... "tripple champ"... we won't hear the end of it. That's winning the lottery x 1000 right there.

And if Khabib survives Tony, and Conor beats Cowboy then Mas..... dude..... that's the setup for the rematch of the ages... probably the real BIGGEST FIGHT EVER... if Conor wins he makes Rothschild money.
