Every sport in France must be organised in a official body call federation to have official competitions. That's the very reason MMA was illegal : big federations like Judo (very powerful in France) and boxing were lobbying against it by fear of losing a share of their members to MMA.
So MMA promoters suggested MMA would be included in one of those federation.

The sport minister agreed to allow MMA, but now there is a bid between a number of combat sport federations to be the one who will manage MMA. And this seem to be the cause of the delay.
 
Francis could always just get the Eurostar and fight in London it's only just over 200 miles away, well he could if they weren't all on strike.......

They'll legalize it. France is a socialist shithole who wants to appear to be all pascifist natured, but money talks when you have a dogshit economy.
 
French MMA fighters should go on strike for a month and barricade some main streets; it's the traditional way to do things in France.
