Let's face it :

- conor is one of the most talented athlete fighter we've seen in the octagon in the last decade

- His fights are always a pleasure to watch, his speed, his vision, his head movement, everything is beautiful to watch

- his boxing is maybe among the top 5 of the best pure boxing in the UFC

- he had maybe the second most dominant championship fight in the history of the UFC against a good 155er that is alvarez

- he is probably still a top 5 LW ( maybe not top 3 though ), I'll favor him against many top 10 155er : like chinny kevin lee ( was getting jabbed by fucking gillepsie for 3 minutes ... ), al iaquinta, hooker, felder etc

- his grappling is absolutely not that bad, he showed many times good grappling abilites when not tired

- no shame in loosing against khabib who is beating everybody at the moment

But Conor has a major problem : his camp.

He will not progress if he is still training in this amateurs gym, the dude has amateurs as sparring partners. SBG gym has produced 0 elite fighters other than conor, who thanks to his talent would ve been champion no matter the camp where he trains.

The " headcoach " of this gym actually though that Nate diaz was the best 155er on earth after conor, according to this dude, nate beat khabib or tony. That should tell you a lot about the fighting knowledge of this " MMA coach ".

If conor want at least a chance of beating khabib, he should change camp, and train with actual professional fighters. What do you think ? should he change camp ? if yes, which camp would be the best ? AKA ?

I definitely agree on the 2nd statement. SBG is not a good camp and full of yes men. But Conor will never leave.

Zahabi

He should go train with Lee Murray imo

Conor's entire game is based on confidence and intimidation. To get that kind of confidence, he feeds off yes men and bums, destroying them in sparring sessions. If Conor were to be challenged in camp, there is no guarantee that the results would have been better. When his intimidation and shittalk doesn't work, he transforms into a shitty boxer who is incapable of lateral movement and only has a straight left coupled with his meme kicks. Irish Edmund and the Lobovs he trains with were actually perfect for him.

dont know, the dude has been shitting on zahabi BAD.

He got triggered because zahabi expressed the idea that max would beat conor today ( which is actually the most likely outcome in a 5 rounds fight )

His greatest enemy is himself. It’s like Jon Jones. The dude doesn’t need a camp that will invent a better fighter, he needs a camp that will keep him straight and out of trouble.

Booze hookers and coke come to mind as his problems

I can understand that, indeed it would hurt conor's confidence if he trains in a gym like ATT, facing real elite fighters.

Conor is good but his weak point is Wrestlling, can change the camp will never be able to beat Khabib.

If you put Conor against a Striker it will destroy.

If you take the space for Conor to use his striking, it's over for the Irish.

Nate didn't beat Conor in the second fight because he doesn't know Wrestling.

Conor does not want to get worked in the gym.
He wants to work over bums and feel like a big boy.

99% of conor career was made by beating Strikers, he runs away from Wrestlers for a reason.

Conor doesn't have Jiu Jitsu to finish a Wrestler.
I dont know if you can say conor's weak point is wrestling just because he got beat up by the best wrestler in the UFC. ( many wrestler would get beat up or have already been beat up by khabib )
It is like saying gastelum weakness is striking because he got beat by the actual best striker in the UFC israel.

I would favor conor against a lot of wrestlers in the 155 division who dont know how to cover the distance as safely as khabib, guys like kevin lee, al iaquinta, gregor, justin etc.

Conor's real weak point is cardio.
