I think Conor's done. I think he believed his own press clippings, the loss to Diaz was above his real weight class, the loss to Mayweather outside his sport. Conor was still the best in the world. In his own mind.

Khabib didn't just beat Conor. He rolled over him. He beat him striking, counter-striking, wrestling and then submitted him. And drew a map for every other opponent. Conor is where Rhodna was after losing to Holly, he just playing it off better. He's terrified he's gonna come back and meet his Amanda. And after that, the entire 'Mystic Mac' myth will be gone. So he'll talk big, and make financial demands he knows the UFC won't meet, but he's painted himself into a corner. He'll only fight elite level talent, but he's bat-shit scared of all of them. He is NOT getting in a ring with Tony Ferguson, or Max Holloway or Jisting Gaetje, never mind Khabib.

That would make sense who ever wins GSP vs Khabib then maybe let connor fight a few easy fights get the hype up again then let him fight the winner.

Income wise it would likly be a good move for the ufc but theyres allot of matchups from that.

If Khabib vs Tony and looses then the GSP fight looses the income and the hype of Khabib and GSP looses its appeal. So does a Khabib vs Connor matchup.
