Whitaker has the better resume leading up to this fight, Adesanya got his title shot after beating Gastelum (who got a title shot off of beating Souza via SD and Bisping who was 3 weeks out of getting choked by GSP), Derek Bumson, and taking a 44 year old Anderson Silva to a decision after 5 rounds.

I have a bigger feeling Izzy is going to get totally humbled and KTFO by Whittaker. Bobby knuckles is a real fighter and Izzy is more mouth than substance. Whittaker is unpredictable enough , and hits hard enough , to leave Izzy stretched out on the canvas with one shot.

Same here and not cause i rate izzy way too high or anything. Whittaker hasn't fought a rangy guy yet and i not sure he can take adesanaya down, at least repeatedly. He's got awesome tdd. Close call tho.
