How can divisions evolve/move forward with all these damn rematches?

This is the reason UFC is dying...rematches.


All these rematches is preventing the divisions from moving forward and creating more stars IMO.

It's like Dana/UFC focus on a single match-up they really want in each division and forget about everything else. They don't build divisions, they infrequently build contenders, and belts don't mean anything anymore.

Yes which ones? The only high profile one I can think of off hand is Stipe DC 3.

None of the other champs are fighting rematches that I am aware of.
