How would a prime Cro Crop do in today’s HW division?

Would he be at the top challenging or would he be beaten down by the top HW fighters?
 
Since he'd still be in an 8sided cage, he'd do only slightly better.

His offensive efficiency relied on cutting off the escape routes.
 
He'd kill most of them. Prime cro cop is more athletic than 95% of the HW division nowadays

Cro-Cop had a skillset that translates well to any MMA era. Elite striker with the ability to stuff takedowns. Tough mindset and won't be intimidated. He's in the championship hunt, by no means unbeatable but a 25-30 year old Cro-Cop poses a threat to every top heavyweight today.
 
Get slept by most.. the "prime" shit is just what dumbass pride fans like to use as an excuse when their heroes got destroyed once they fought good MMA fighters
 
Prime Cro Cop would prolly be champion today.
 
He would do good, he was very fast for HW and obviously had big power. Cro Cop looks like he is in his prime now too lol, he has looked really good in recent years, whats he on like a 10 or 11 fight win streak. I want to see him rematch Fedor before they retire.

Crocop retired after having a stroke a few months ago.
 
Being a BIG Cro cop fan, I think he would kick ass against the current HW's. Most of the top HW's are stand up fighters, and this would be perfect for him! Of course he came to UFC right after winning the PRIDE open weight Grand prix and did nothing here, so you just never know. Loved watching him head kick guys to sleep in PRIDE though. Good memories.:rolleyes:

He came to the ufc what 6 months after the biggest win in his career?

It's a joke how overrated pride cro cop was.

He lost most big fights he was in.
 
He would KO stipe and lose very hard fought dec to DC.
 
2005 Crocop who was only 45-50 fights into his career would’ve faired well, sadly he had so much ring time without actual cage experience followed by a breaks in focused training while he served in the Croatian Parliament no telling how good he could’ve been.
 
Could be champ with the right match up, he'd def beat a few top 10 guys.
