3 round fight.

Is there any way Stipe can win a 3 round fight against DC, or is his only shot a 5 round fight where he can outlast him?

Of course the random knockout is a possibility, as it is in every fight, and especially heavyweight fights.

But assuming they are scheduled for a 3 round fight, does Stipe really have a chance? If the fights were shorter like they were back in the day, DC would have won an easy decision.

DC starches Stipe 99/100 times.

Okay and if fights were 3 rounds like they used to be, Gustafsson would have beat Jones on two scorecards at UFC 165

Stipe already won round 3 in the second fight. I think he can make the adjustments necessary to win another round.

Not that it matters, just as it doesn't matter (in the opposite hypothetical scenario that fanbois like to create) if Romero would have beat Costa in a 5-rounder.

Adjustments would have to be made and he would really have to prevent DC from winning the wrestling exchanges for 3 rounds. It would be a difficult task for sure. Surprising DC with takedowns of his own would help a lot and keep the judges honest.

It’s entirely possible for Steeopic to win, but I favor DC in a 3 round fight.

Not if Stipe body shots DC from the start.

R1 TKO under two minutes for Miocic

If DC didn't stick his thumb in stipes eye he would've probably won the 2nd round also.

If the refs actually prevented DC from eye poking Stipe, Stipe would have won both.

If Jones hadn't been stripped for something completely unrelated to MMA, DC wouldn't have gotten his hands on that strap either.

DC didn't deserve either title.

It's not difficult for DC to fix his mistake in a future fight. If he doesn't make the same basic mistake, he wins 99/100 in 3 or 5.

Stipe fought a great fight and was able to adjust, your assuming he can't make that adjustment in 3 rounds. The first fight ended to quickly and the second was a great fight of back and forth. Who knows what would happen but it is a more interesting fight than DC/Jones.

With 18 seconds left in the 1st round, how many of you shertards wanted Herb Dean to stop the fight? DC was on top of Stipe and Stipe was down on all 4s and DC was unloading hammer fists into Stipes head. Stipe was not defending them intelligently, so you cucks are probably crying that the fight wasn't stopped right there. DC couldn't believe it either as he looked up at Herb, hoping for the stoppage. Why aren't you "intelligently defending yourself" cucks not calling for Herb's head for missing this?

Why? STFU salty bitches, Stipe (the champ) only fights 5 round fights. Now cry some more
