If Khabib defeats Poirier, as he’s expected to, he said on multiple occasions that Tony is next, but we know how money can change things.

1. Rematch with Connor. This one is obvious, the pink goof hinted many times it’s a possibility. Will sell over 1m PPV again and a very easy fight for Khabib.

2. Nate Diaz. Their beef has gotten into the casual fans radar, Diaz returned with a win and he’s got some hype now. Will sell over 1m PPV again and a very easy fight for Khabib.

Cool? Dustin aint gonna be no walk in the park though

This is a much closer fight than alot of people are giving it credit for

Avoiding even mentioning Tony.
<45>The fear is real!

how much is the Abu Dhabi card going to sell??

if it doesnt do that great, only a McGregor rematch is a money fight

still not convinced Khabib is a superstar

Let’s face it - Tony has zero marketability, UFC doesn’t want a 35 year old with mental issue history, zero charisma and casual fan hype around the world to be a champ

It doesn’t matter how much it sells. The Sheikhs already paid UFC more than enough.

He’s a superstar in Muslim world, hence why UFC got the oil money

Tony would be the most interesting and marketable Champ since Conor

Can now be applied to Khabib himself.

What a bs. After Dustin he will fight for his life against Ferguson

Avoiding even mentioning Tony.

Fear? Who is fearing what? The undefeated pro fighter fearing that other pro fighter? Or the guy who started the thread fearing a fighter he will likely never meet let alone fight?

Tony Ferguson is the type of guy to beat Khabib just as a warm up for his dozen title defenses.

The marketability for Tony is through the roof. Every fan wants to see that.

Something tells me your very pro Khabib and anything/everything Russian...... cant exactly tell what it is.....

Youre so freaking stupid. Tony pulled out last time they were booked. Tony refused an interim title fight only to fight Cerrone for no belt later.

If anything Tony has been doing everything he can to avoid Khabib.

Khabib showed up to UFC 223 Tony did not. Khabib is fight the interim title holder while Tony refused.

His words say he wants Khabib his actions say he doesnt. Khabibs words and actions all indicate that he couldnt careless if he fights tony or not. If anything he always said that tony deserves it.

Its good that you wrote "if Khabib defeats Poirier". It shows respect.

Poirier is not a Anthony Smith, neither a Holly Holm or Santos. They all were big underdogs against Jon Jones and Nunes.

But a guy like Poirier with his evolution in the octagon will not enter the cage as an big underdog.... this guy will bring everything to Khabib. Dont sleep on this guy....
