he was doing good before Stipe spammed the liver shots and then the TKO, (had him up 2-1). What's next for him, retirement ?

He is fairly old, and has nothing left to prove. Wouldn't be the worst thing to just bow out after that fight, and move on.

DC should have retired before the Stipe rematch and his legacy would have been the greatest UFC HW; now he needs a trilogy fight with Stipe to cement his legacy at HW.

There are plenty of HW's with better resumes than DC he was never the GOAT.

His legacy will be that of a man whose accomplished more in life then most. A family man, role model, and inspiration to many, but especially to his children, which essentially is probably all he cares about.

i agree he should of stuck to his guns and just retired when he turned 40 like he said

Top 15 goat. Never the best of his time in any weightclass, but a good fighter.

Cash in on the sponsorship opportunity while he still has time...

Top 10 fighter of all time

2nd best LHW of all time

Has nightmares of Jones every day

Only won the first stipe fight because of eye poke

Class act

I say fuck it and fight Jon Jones one last time. Give it a go and worst case, he loses the fight and retires.

An all time great imo. Not the best but top 10 for sure. At 40 dominated one of the best hw’s of all time for 3 rds.

Classic Shertards, you're only as good as your last fight.
