I just finished the Matt Hughes biography and highly recommend it, its not as good as Lesnar who had more obvious writing assistance which results in a more logical narrative, progression etc. Hughes book is more rambling, ranting and difficult to follow.
Where they share a similarity is in their love/focus on farming. Brock even refers to himself as “Farmer Brock” and talks about how its always a fall back option for him. Hughes has lengthy descriptions of farm work, tractor types , seasonal crops etc.
Brock largely talks about baling hay- he got a hernia at age six from this for example.
Both ND (Lesnar) and IL (Hughes) are strong farming states, but something about Lesnar just indicates this is a work or role- playing “farmer”. I have to go with Hughes on this one.
What say you Sherdog- who is the better farmer?
