I just finished the Matt Hughes biography and highly recommend it, its not as good as Lesnar who had more obvious writing assistance which results in a more logical narrative, progression etc. Hughes book is more rambling, ranting and difficult to follow.

Where they share a similarity is in their love/focus on farming. Brock even refers to himself as “Farmer Brock” and talks about how its always a fall back option for him. Hughes has lengthy descriptions of farm work, tractor types , seasonal crops etc.

Brock largely talks about baling hay- he got a hernia at age six from this for example.

Both ND (Lesnar) and IL (Hughes) are strong farming states, but something about Lesnar just indicates this is a work or role- playing “farmer”. I have to go with Hughes on this one.

What say you Sherdog- who is the better farmer?

Farmer Brock and it's not even close

Farmer Brock is a better human being than Country Breakfast Hughes

Hughes in his farming prime, Lesnar currently, for obvious reasons.

It all boils down to who had the superior country breakfast.

Niether. Tom Speer is GOAT UFC farmer by a country mile. And if you didn't know that he was a farmer, they told you 50 times in his pre-fight promo and during the TUF finale commentary.

Can milk 120 cattle in 1.5 hours, 2x a day:

Rumble is lucky that he didn't get arrested for assaulting a farmer and endangering our nations dairy supply:

Cole Konrad retired as the undefeated Bellator heavyweight champion to become an agriculture commodities trader specialized in dairy products. I have no clue what that means, but it sounds farm-related.

Lesnar farms rings around Hughes...it's not even close. Matt Hughes farmed in Hillsboro, Illinois. Lesnar farmed as a young man in South Dakota, as adult in Minnesota, and then finally in Marysville, Saskatchewan. The further north you go, the bigger the challenge farmingwise; later spring, earlier frost. Lesnar started out farming well north of Hughes, but it didn't end there; Lesnar kept upping the degree of difficulty by going further north every time he moved farms to keep challenging himself...he's that damn good a farmer.

This is what I came here for.

Not sure Brock's set up, but I know that Hughes legit lives in farm country in the middle of fucking no where.

Brock doesn't farm. He just hates people and likes isolation. Hughes doesn't talk to his wife for days so he can go farming with his boys then he gets hit by a train.

Hughes should be disqualified for this:

Rumble could have been arrested for assault:

New nickname....Anthony "Double" Johnson. He is about double the weight now compared to that fight.

Hughes via pounding behind the barn. There's levels.
