Askren was essentially beat the hell out in that fight and won only by referee's mess up, from the one and only mess up master Herb Dean at that.

It just lights Askren and his fans as dishonest and scummy tbh.

It is surprising that not a lot of people are giving him shit for the way hes been acting since... like he won without any controversy and not wanting to rematch

If it had been jon jones, people would be making daily threads up to this date

Because he does for 2 reasons.

1. Robbie went out and came back. His arm didn't drop like a branch hit by lightning just cause. The same thing happened to Jacare in his last fight. He said he got stuck that guillotine and went out and came back and continued fighting the choke.

2. Waiting for someone's arm burn out isn't intelligent defense. Once you stop hand fighting the ref has a duty to protect the fighter and call the fight.

Lawler was only conscious at the end because Askren released the grip.

Go cry your salty tears somewhere else.

You are wrong on both accounts. Just to say that waiting for the arm to burn out is not a legitimate thing delegitimizes anything you have to say.

I guess you don't know the definition of intelligent defense which de-legitimized anything you say.

What your saying is that a ref should let a fighter get repeatedly punched in the face with no response back because sooner or later if the guy doing the punching doesn't stop him eventually his arms will get tired and he'll stop punching him.

You probably think Mayweather vs McGregor was stopped early too?

Askren won the fight. Get over it, kid. Calling other people "dishonest and scummy" for acknowledging reality indicates you may have a problem. Stop. Get help.

Lawyer was never out. Asleep got his ass kicked tho.

He weathered the storm, and got the win?

That is the dishonesty I am talking. The situation in that fight was no where near of Askren repeatedly punching Lawler. As a matter of fact, Lawler gave a thumbs up indicating he is fine, by which alone the ref shouldn't have stopped the fight even if he was out moments before. To say otherwise is utter scummy hypocrisy because Askren himself went limp when Lawler was pounding on him.

You bring a bad rep for Askren and his fanbase.

At no point did Askren ever stop moving or stop attempting to move himself in a better position not to get hit. Point blank.

He was getting hit but he was still attempting to intelligently defend himself throughout.

Man that's crazy. You really just tried to make seem that Askren wasn't constantly in motion.
