I just thought it was weird how dana jumped all over every interviewer when they said the event was canceled when it was canceled

Well, UFC 241 is booked for the Honda Center in Anaheim, which is where UFC 233 was going to be held. It's a similar timegap between the two as happened back in 2017, when UFC 214 was considered the rescheduling of an event originally set for January. It's just that they were a little more advanced in setting up cards and doing promo stuff this time around before they had to "reschedule," so they decided to skip the number and avoid confusion with the following event.
