Rockhold dominantly beats Romero at LHW

Every hardcore fan remembers how good Luke was in Strikeforce. He had the massive confidence, like when he fought Souza 9 mounts off the shelf, or when he fought Kennedy while switching stances. He was more creative and unpredictable back then. Compare that to his performances versus Branch and Romero, where he fought very conservatively, constantly afraid to pull the trigger.
The reason is he knew he could take a hit on the chin in Strikeforce. But the weightcut got to him over the years. In Strikeforce, he cut weight from 200 lbs, but for the Branch fight, he started cutting from ~205 lbs(info from two separate interviews).

Conclusion: Rockhold wasn't dick-slingingly versus Romero because of the brutal weightcut, that kills his chin and cardio. Otherwise he would have been switching stances and loosened his hands with better combos (the correct way for him to fight Yoel)

No one beats Romero in a dominating fashion. He got hit by that spinning backfist was it by Fejao at light heavy and lost to Whitaker, though I think he won the rematch, he has never lost or got dominated, and I don't think he will unless he falls out of prime. He's too dangerous on feet, no matter what round he is in, too explosive, too good of a wrestler, hard to keep down as well, strong asfuck, for someone to really dominate him.

And I doubt Rockhold will be the one to do it. I think Rockhold in his prime beats Whitaker, Israel, AND Kelvin easy tho.

only chance Luke has is getting top position where he can finish anyone, but its very slim to get Yoel there. Weve seen Yoel hold up fine over 5 rounds in his last outing

Jacare couldnt sturike in SF. He was mediocre standing and his boxing and kicking game were far from what theyd become. Most of Lukes other opponents besides Kennedy in Strikeforce were scrub to mediocre level fighters and Luke himself was clearly at his best the last few years
