Chris Weidman shared out this tweet and it seems like his mentality has changed. Could this be the return of Chris Weidman???
 
Is he talking about going out to the bar?

Oh please. TS, can you name 3 fighters on nasty losing streaks who haven't said something like that?

Tito of course was the best. He was a 'new and improved' and 'fully healed' and ' better than ever' Tito before every fight between Chuck and Sonnen. It was only after that he would discuss his various injuries that kept him from living up to those promises.
 
Chris has had quite a fall from grace, but hes always fighting legit monsters.

He also looked great against Jacare before the KO.

I hope he can pick himself up and dust himself off and kick some ass.

He was so overrated to the point where he might in fact be underrated now.
 
Was he ever gone?

He has only lost to absolute hammers:

- Jacare
- Mousasi
- Yoel Romero
- Luke Rockhold

He was competitive in every one of those fights.

The only issue I have with any of his performances was in clearly looking for an out against Mousasi.

My assessment is that Weidman was never gone. He is an elite Middleweight.
 
He pretty much had been facing top 5 time after time since 2012. And had been very competitive every time.

Needs a step down and to fight more often.
