Are 30% Usman/Ali ducking the rightful #1 contender Colby Covington now ?

Ali AbdelAziz is known for campaigning for their fighter to duck #1 contenders in the past (ex. Tony) while looking for easier matchups , right now i think Colby Covington is the hardest matchup for Usman who has been fighting Colby leftovers for a while now (ex Maia , RDA) and been building the fight with Colby also for a while and that is clearly the fight that makes sense the most and that the fans are the most interested on at WW right now .
Ali instead claimed that his client Kamaru Usman will fight Askren next after their altercation with Colby in a LV casino while Askren ahs only a fight in UFC which is a controversial win over Robbie .
Recently Ali claimed that Usman will fight Masvidal instead of Colby while Masvidal is coming of a 2 year layoff in which he was coming of a 2 fight losing streak in which he got completely schooled against Wonderboy and his record in WW is 5-4 .
His reason for campaigning to not fight Colby next is because he is so "disrespectful" while he had no problem with his client fighting Conor McGregor .
Same as with Khabib when Ali claimed that they will not fight Tony because he is the "easiest" fight and they wanted a money fight (The same guys who claimed to be fighting for legacy a few weeks back before that tweet). I feel sad for WW division not only the division is at its weakest but also the most compelling matchups arent being made also the best WW in the world whos name is ROry MacDonald is not even in the UFC.

Thoughts on this ?

Well, the UFC are the ones who make the matchmaking decisions so they can go fuck themselves with their demands.

Colby was fighting for a world title there while Usman had 0 top ranked wins. By your logic Colby should have pulled out of a world title fight (interim) to fight a guy who was barely in top 10 ?

Covington is a Twitter Thug and it was a Big Drama Show, Khabib made me laugh at the end.

Whatever, Covington is too small and worse at everything Usman does and he knows it.
Interim titles are BS and mean nothing as Covington found out when he won it and wanted none of Woodley either.

If Usman fights Covington it's an easy win for Usman, how's Covington winning it? He's not out wrestling Usman, he's not outlasting him and their standup is equally poor.

LOL at this poor boy getting triggered . Colby has better cardio than Usman , Wrestling is pretty even with Usman being stronger and the striking is also pretty even . No other WW can match their wrestling go figure that out boy.

dumb logic.... colby is a UFC fighter and was interim champ, so he is not afraid to fight..... when was your last UFC fight?

he is just not stupid and prefers to fight for money in the ring instead of backstage for 0 money and risk getting suspended or kicked out of UFC and lose his livelihood

usman is the same as knew this, that's why he was running his mouth, because he knew colby had more to lose at that point and wasnt going to do anything then

colby did same thing to usman before his fight with twood while usman was at open workout and usman ignored colby....why? because at that moment he had more to lose

neither are scared to fight, they fight for a living
