This has been a crazy college football season so far.

Indeed. Might just have 4 one-loss teams in the CFP.

I love the season being like this honestly

It has, my Cavs are a perfect example. They start the season with three straight losses, two to inferior talent, and then come out like gangbusters and beat two really solid teams in CMU and Duke.

I know CMU and Duke aren't powerhouses, but both are legit top 30-35 teams this season, with wins over Notre Dame and Oklahoma. For a school like UVa, desperately trying to recapture past glory, those two wins are the beginnings of a foundation being built by the new coaching staff.

So happy that Bama won, as a lifelong Bama fan I can honestly say this is the best team we've had in years, roll tide.

You need to go all the way and put them in your sig.

Me too. It is certainly more interesting when each team has to play for 4 full quarters.

I think a lot of it has to do with how offenses have evolved over the last ten years. Everyone runs an uptempo offense, so no one is ever really out of it, no matter the score. Plus, it seems like fewer and fewer programs are placing a huge emphasis on defense anymore. It used to be a Big12 problem, but it looks to have crept into the SEC and ACC, as well. The B1G is the only conference that places any kind of value on defense. At least that's what it seems like to me.

UGA hired Smart because they were afraid he'd take the South Carolina job and didn't even take a shot at Herman. LMAO!!!

Alright 5 weeks into the season and it seems appropriate enough to start giving my top four playoff teams:

1. CLEMSON
2. TENNESSEE
3. MICHIGAN
4. TEXAS A&M
--------------
First two out:

5. HOUSTON
6. WASHINGTON

The only undefeated ATS teams left: Colorado (5-0), Miami (4-0), tOSU (4-0), Toledo (4-0), WMU (5-0).

Winless ATS teams: Penn St. (0-4-1), Oregon (0-4-1), FAU (0-5), Arky St (0-4), BGSU (0-5), UConn (0-4-1)
