I'm making this thread to issue a disclaimer: the trolling is getting too heavy in these threads. Generally speaking, we know the SB tends to be a more a trollsy subforum, and that's part and parcel to the nature of the discussion, and generally the fun escalates in concert with the trash talk. However, it got out of hand, and that should be apparent from the ban of longtime poster Da Speeit.

The idea is to keep it lighthearted. Ribbing should be proportional to what's at stake (in the grand scheme of things sports are games being played and trinkets being won-- nothing more).

If you're going to bait other posters, keep it lighthearted, keep it humorous, and make an effort (with trollsy posts) to target regulars who participate in that type of dialogue. Too many casuals and regulars who don't like trollwarring are getting roped into this, and it's ruining discussion of a major sporting event.

Keep in mind that there is real, serious sporting debate that should be taking place between any breed of flag-waving. Serious debate is fun, too.

Basically leave the Jonathon Martin's alone.

Speeit is the SB version of Incognito.

We've been disciplined.

Might as well make posts count here if it's going to be moderated like the Mayberry imo

Trolling is useless since the USA is gonna win it all anyway.

It couldn't last.

Sherdog can't handle soccer being a success on this board.

Quick question, did any moderators PM Da Speeit to warn him to mellow out or was he just banned? I personally saw his banter in fun and not malicious.

bout time Spain dropped Xavi and brought in some pace. Pedro has that in spades and I imagine we'll see the penetration and pace of attack upped quite a bit...especially the penetration.

Good job Mick. Racists were exposed in this thread.

So we can't troll in general or at a certain poster, because I was planning on shitting on Spain for the next two hours.

the USA wins and people( non americans) were rustled and hit the report

I do like watching the penetration and balls in behind.

noblet has been strangely absent today

guilty feelings over reporting daspy?

A-level athletes bring out the worst in Sherdog.

We never get this kind of exposure to A-level athletes, not even in the Sports Bar.

Just saw the penalty...another bullshit penalty...the touch was not intentional...

BTW I'm feeling some huge hatred from the Europeans. It's sickening. You do remember who saved you in WWII, right?
