Tldr: Four teenage girls were found tied up and shot in the head in an I Can't Believe Its not Yogurt shop in Austin Texas in 1991.

Police have tied a bullet casing found at the scene to the gun that Robert Eugene Brashers, a known serial killer, used to kill himself in 1999 during a standoff with police.

Hopefully Jon-Benet Ramsey is next.

As Austinites my wife and I have always followed this. The secrecy when it happened was so weird. All the rumors were that they found the girls hung upside-down from the ceiling, etc. It was crazy the speculation that was going on.

The article make no sense at all. First they say they tied a casing to the suspect, but then they say his DNA matched DNA from a rape kit of one victim? And if he’s been dead for 25+ years, why just now? Am I misunderstanding what it says?

rumors get outta hand with things like that, we had a popular musician here, Mia Zapata, and I read she was left in an obscene position and beheaded in a local paper. I think I later heard she was not beheaded but left in a crucifixion position. They didn't find the killer until DNA tracked him down, some cuban refugee, i think from that castro boatlift. The weird thing was this guy used to babysit some young girl in one of my old neighborhoods. He died of natural causes a couple years ago in prison.

I did know some of the musicians who knew Mia, actually her "best friend" who may not have been. I've seen rumors online that she was present when Mia got abducted but didn't want to call police for some reason or another, I think they said she was some drug pusher and didn't want to get nabbed or something. I don't know about any of that but that grunge crowd was pretty fucked up in the 90's here, all trying to grasp the brass ring that Nirvana and Pearl Jam did (it was Seattle).

My understanding is it was just a partial DNA sample and therefore a partial match, but the bullet casing was the definitive proof.
 
Thanks for posting this TS. I kept looking this up every now and then. I was under the impression more than one man was involved ?
 
It gives me content that i believe in a hell and that there’s a special place reserved for men like this. Young girls no less. Coward.
