Gorilla has reach

Gorilla has strength

But what it really boils down to is fighting styles

Bears stand their ground as a display of dominance and try to clumsily but effectively grapple, where as even the most stoic of apes dance

The hit and recoil defensive combat gorillas practice would pummel the bear down with the thick skin and bones of the gorilla weathering the majority of blows a bear would inflict while trying to grapple with the ape

Now if it was a KODIAK bear, the result would prolly be different

A grizzled bear is so much stronger than a gorilla it's not even worth discussing. They will shred a rock apart and eat a fossilized dinosaur

The bears are also much nastier than gorillas by nature and are built to kill other animals and have enormous endurance. A thick coating of fat and fur doesn't really leave the gorilla many ways to injure the bear either. I know this is a popular matchup online, but it's really lopsided.

The bear could eat one of them while fighting the other one.

The only land animals that stand a chance against a grizzly bear are animals that are just way bigger like elephants or rhinos.

A hippo would be an interesting battle though...
