I feel like you’re conflating that problematic relationship with her individual personality. It looks to me she gets along with a lot of people and generally seems to be a sweet heart.
She does need to get out of that relationship though.

I have only seen one vid of Rose outside of the cage, where she was showing her garden and talking with that strongman, and did some training with him. She did not seem like an asshole at all.
