With Bellator's inaugural PPV maincard complete, I've been wondering what people think about it.
Main card:
Quinton Jackson vs. Tito Ortiz
Michael Chandler vs. Eddie Alvarez (Title)
Muhammed Lawal vs. Emanuel Newton (Title)
Pat Curran vs. Daniel Straus (Title)
Cheick Kongo vs. Vinicius Queiroz
Spike TV preliminary card:
Joe Riggs vs. Mike Bronzoulis
Terry Etim vs. Patrick Cenoble
With 3 title matches, a #1 contender match, and I'm sure Jackson/Tito will have title implications as well. I think it's actually a decent card. Not as interesting or impactful as a top UFC card, but all things considered, these are good match ups if you ask me. I'm interested in how many buys it does, the overall presentation, and the media's reaction. Also, how soon they do another, if ever. Personally if it was free I'd be excited for it. If it cost around 10-15$ I'd even buy it.
Anyway, regardless of how many buys you think it will do.
What do you think about the quality of Bellator's PPV on paper, and what it means for Bellator as a brand?
