TJ Laramie who just recently turned 18 is already 2-0 as a pro. Debuting at 17 in Japan on Pancrase and finally just recently able to get his career underway in North America.

People who have gotten to train with him or have seen him train are already suggesting that he may be the next big thing out of Canada. Comes out of the same gym MTCWINDSOR in which Randa Markos was at when she made her run on the Ultimate fighter. Still early in his career, but this kid seems like he has all the potential in World from all the hype he is getting in Canada. Hope you guys enjoy

I didn't like how he mean mugged his opponent after destroying him but he's young so I get it. Looked good though especially for a younger kid

Here is a quick pad session I found with this kid. He Also won World Jiu Jitsu championships and a Canadian National level wrestler to go with his multiple kickboxing titles.

Been following him and his younger brother Tony Laramie for some time now.

He's cutting down to 135. Isn't he supposed to be growing?

I dunno about TJ.... but Tony, oh shit, what a prospect! he could go all the way man, excited to see TJ later on too.

I've seen one of his fights on YouTube and he looked pretty decent. I thought some of his striking techniques looked a bit rehearsed and unnatural, but overall I thought that was something that could be fixed. I will keep an eye on him.

I have another question about a fighter based out of Canada though. I had always wondered when Canadian wrestlers were going to start making there way into MMA, and I found that Khetag Pliev is currently a few fights into his career and is undefeated. I look him up on YouTube, and managed to find one of his fights. I thought standing and in the clinch he looked a little subpar, but once he got to the ground he just jackhammered the poor guy he was fighting into sheep counting land. Does anyone know who he is training with? I hope more aspiring Canadian wrestlers choose MMA. I know a lot of people scoff at Canadian wrestling, but GSP showed that it really isn't about caliber when it comes to MMA. I'd like to see more give it a go.

Comes out of the same gym as Randa Markos? Well that seals it for me. Bright future obviously.

I've trained with TJ and his brother at their gym. Both have a bright future ahead of them
