Al took the fight on a days notice, all his prep was for a stand up fight. He also had only fought 90 seconds in 3 years before fighting khabib. the only people who consider that a good win are khabib fans

He hasn't been in a fight where the grappling was negated with a fighter that has significantly better striking.
So previous fights wouldn't really give good insight on this fight.

And Kevin likes blue shirts..........Whats important is whats happening now. Lee missed weight = if it happens in the championship bout, no belt for him

Khabib's standup looks mediocre but its extremely effective. There is a reason Lee spammed takedowns on Barboza the entire fight. It's because he knew it was an area where Barboza was superior. Khabib stood with Barboza for half the fight just for fun and won the exchanges.

The only guy that is a potential threat to Khabib is Ferguson (who wiped out Lee btw). Conor has avoided Khabib like the plague (quite wisely).

Lee is tough enough to ride out a decision loss to Khabib but it won't even be close.
 
Lee can definitely take Khabib down and negate a lot of Khabib's own grappling pressure. However, Khabib has shown, though limited, a much much better game off his back than what Edson has shown against good top pressure fighters. One of the most frustrating things about both Khabib and Lee's performances against Edson is that, although he could stuff a bunch of takedowns, especially in the center, he showed 0 ability to create a scramble and seemingly little effort into getting back to his feet. He was mounted and controlled by both guys and appeared to not even worry about the GNP raining down on him. Kevin Lee has pretty good boxing and probably an overall better striking game than what Khabib has shown. Khabib is relentless though and will not give up on his wrestling despite it not working always a la Tibau. Overall, we have a great future stylistic match-up.

To say that one or the other has nothing for the other is stupid.

oh so it only matters in championship fights? so kevin missing weight this time doesnt matter? if khabibs misses dont matter, then surely by your logic kevins dont matter?

and kevin made championship weight against Tony, so khabib and kevin have both made weight for title fights..... so whats your point?
