Why Weidman keeps losing at MSG

I forgot all about that boycott. Not surprised by Chris capitulating since he's also taken Kadyrov money while calling himself "All American"

He's losing cuz he's fighting top 5 guys while not being a top 5 guy himself anymore.
Yep.
I mean...didn't he beat Munoz to get his shot at Silva? Munoz is a solid fighter, but he isn't elite. He followed up his win against old man Silva with a win over old man Vitor, and then a declining Machida before getting wrecked by the real top guys in Luke, Romero, Gegard, and Jacare.
Not bashing Weidman, but he hadn't really faced top dudes till after he won his title

He is no longer my boy.

Clearly Romero put a voodoo curse on him, probably sacrificed a chicken under the ring the day before, nothing he could do

Yea he beat Munoz to get a shot but he vaporized him, I dont think he landed a single strike

Because monosodium glutamate.

Weidman is losing because of USADA. As soon as strict drug testing was implemented, Weidman along with several others started losing.

Romero practicing voodoo? I can see one or two problems with that theory...

This is such an absurd sentiment.

You can wheel out those old versions of Munoz, Silva and Machida and watch The Chris beat them up literally tomorrow.

Romero likely beats all middleweights across all generations, because he's a far better fighter. He beats every version of Chris that ever existed, more times than he loses.

Rockhold
Romero
Moose
Kelvin
Jacare

That is cartoonishly more difficult then the guys Weidman beat on his win streak, and he still put away Kelvin.

I have a theory why Chris Weidman keeps losing at MSG. Is it possible he keeps losing because he feels guilty for having backstabbed all his New York teammates by agreeing to fight at UFC 205, the first card in NY?

Remember the situation surrounding UFC 205 was that even though it was going to be the first card in NY after MMA got legalized there, all NY fighters decided to boycott the card over dissatisfaction with pay. Specifically, all Weidman's teammates (Gian Villante, Raging Al) refused to fight.

Then in an emergency measure, Lorenzo Fertita flew Weidman out to his home in Vegas and Weidman basically got bling struck by Lorenzo's mansion, and instead of maintaining solidarity with his teammates, capitulated and agreed to fight on the card. In the end, he was the only NY fighter to fight on the first NY card.

Do you think that Weidman has had a guilty conscience ever since, and that is why he loses every time he fights at MSG and almost every time he fights in NY?

I was not aware of this story concerning 205 and Chris's backstabbing of his own teammates.

You've just given me yet another reason to never root for Weidman and to enjoy watching him get KTFO.

No. No I don't think that.
