Opinion Why US spends so much on the army?

A lot of people dont want to recognize this but millions of people are supported by our military spending. Tons of companies exsist solely to support the military industrial complex.
 
It's to protect a series of economic and commercial relationships that keep the west on top.
 
Because it's a giant scam just like everything else in the country.
 
Peo ppl le fail to realize the reality of our war culture. We have been involved in one conflict or another for over 200 years straight. It is our military hegemony that paves the way for us to be the only superpower. We get what we want because we take it. We exploit smaller nations and bully the bigger ones. Make no excuses for our extravagant lifestyles and extreme wealth. We take it at the tip of a sword.

billions spent on the army and they cant even secure the border.
 
The vast majority of the Military goes to US corporations via defense contracts.

It's the rights version of socialism, only it gives "free money" to the wealthy instead of the poor.
 
they should definitely cut all military spending on the drug war which nobody can justify
 
Why have such an expensive army , when they dont even try to defend their own border?
must be because US politicians have completely sold out to wealthy donors who want open borders and non stop wars for a certain country .

And it would be much more respectable if we said this, rather than the fake "they hate us cause our freedom" bullshit
 
I bought us military industrial complex stocks, they are doing well. Lockheed, Raytheon, etc. The more they rid the planet of people the richer I get.

Do you understand what that kid said was hate and not criticism? I have plenty of criticism for my country, but I also know I am one of the luckiest people in the world that i am apart of it.

Because we are the worlds defender. Everyone questions why we spend so much until we're needed. The threat of American retribution is a powerful thing to the people who oppose us.
