Who's the best boxer to study for short people

Rosendo Alvarez, Andre Ward, Chiquita Gonzalez, Gerry Penalosa, Azumah Nelson, Guillermo Rigondeaux, Roberto Duran, and Jung Koo-Chang and Flash Elorde all come to mind as guys generally shorter than their opponents though they all fought quite differently from each othoer

Andre Ward is not short.

paul williams.

This isn't a joke, but he is taller than everyone he faced, so watching his fights, he's almost always taller than his opponents.

Two guys that are 5'7 and good at what they do.

Montell Griffin and Miguel Cotto.

If your aggressive, head down and want to get on the inside then look at Cotto.

If your more of a tactical boxer and want to pick your shots from distance then definitely check out Griffin, Griffin beat James Tony twice and has fought some of the best, gave prime Roy Jones trouble in their first fight and took Tarver to a decision, impressive for a 5'7 fighter at LHW.
He has a lot of nice moves for a short fighter.

Well how fast are you? Because you shouldn't study Mike Tyson or Floyd Mayweather if you're not super genetically gifted.

Julio Cesar Chavez Sr is a pretty good one for most anyone to follow if they are short.

Height isn't really the true tale of what you should try and take as your style. It's more about what your physical attributes are... Do you have power, speed, good reflexes, footwork, can you take a punch etc. If you can't crack an egg then you can't try and mimic Tyson's style. At 5'7", you would be on the short side fighting at anything above 160 pounds. Qawi was a very good short fighter, but he had that inner toughness and aggression that most don't possess. Montell Griffin is a good call, for someone who is good all around, but not really great at any aspect. Older Roberto Duran after he moved up in weight is worth looking at too.
