Morgan Freeman because he has been the president and God.

Samuel L. Jackson ainec, it might be more competitive to see which was better in his respective roles.

Morgan was in the best movie of both lists = Shawshank
Morgan has had bigger roles in the better movies.
For example - Jackson was in Coming to America, Good Fellas, Menace to Society, and Do the Right Thing but had very small roles.

I am a bigger fan of Jackson.

Sam has the best role in Pulp Fiction but Morgan is better overall

Sam is cool but I prefer Morgan

Seven
Shaw shank
Batman trilogy
And unforgiven

Those clinch it for Freeman

Some of those you listed for Jackson I don't even remember him being in. Who was he in true romance?

That’s a really weird question since they have never, to my knowledge, had any similar types of roles. I have to say Freeman for his portrayal of Alex Cross. I love those movies.

Kingsman for Jackson and Wanted from Freeman are pretty similiar characters.

i don't understand what similar roles has to do with which movies are better

Morgan Freeman has bigger roles in better movies. Jackson's role in Goodfellas could have been played by any no name actor and it wouldn't have effected the movie at all. That's not a knock on Jackson, that's just what it is.

SHAWSHANK is not better than JURASSIC PARK, COMING TO AMERICA, nor JACKIE BROWN.

Idk man Shawshank is pretty good. Maybe not better than Jurassic Park but definitely better than Coming to America and Jackie Brown
That's fair (BUT YOU'RE WRONG). SHAWKSHANK is overlong. When Brooks starts narrating I'm like Jesus Fucking Christ. When Scorsese does it in CASINO where suddenly it's Random Goombah talking through the fourth wall, it's kind of funny. But Brooks, his delivery fucking slows an already slow-ass film down to a dead halt. It would have made a great cable miniseries. You know, for a novella source.

I do love Clancy Brown in it. Coincidentally to the Brad Pitt thread, Gil Bellows plays a character that was originally intended for Pitt, so I used to rewatch SHAWSHANK with that in mind.

Freeman by a landslide.

I pick Freeman.

Shawshank is the best movie on either list.

If Freeman is in a movie he is generally the key character of one of.

Jackson takes a ton of minor roles in bigger movies just to get a credit in. He has stated prior that he wants to be the all time box office king and therefore will accept shoehorn roles into any big movie he thinks may gross big numbers.

I'd say Sam Jackson purely for his performance in Shawshank, though Morgan was pretty good as that badass in Pulp Fiction.
