Seems to be an internal bias to say against smaller fighters and commentators sjould be called out for doing this. Name me one time Rogan has said "this kid" about brock lesnar. But he has no problem calling 30 year old flyweight and bantamweights kids.

When someone says "this kid" about demetrious i want to murder them.

Most kids are taller than MM these days.

Joe Rogan is old enough to call them kids, I think.

Move along, citizen.

Angry Manlet lol. The name says it all. Move along people.

This again? It's a really, really old sport tradition. Older trainers, commentators, and veterans refer to younger players as kids. They aren't kids in life. They're kids in the sport. And beyond that it's also generally a compliment that is meant as a comment on the enthusiasm with which they compete.

Hell, my favourite baseball player ever was referred to as "The Kid" throughout his career and even after he retired...
