I once read about this kid that fell head first into a deep hole, just wide enough for his shoulders to wedge him in there upside down with his arms trapped behind him. He was approximately 15 feet from the surface and about 100 feet from the bottom of the hole. The more he struggled the more wedged in he got. Imagine the claustrophobia of that! I'd think you'd go insane before you finally died.

To make it even more extreme no pain needed, just near total sensory deprivation, tied down, blindfolded, earplugs and fed via drip for years on end until you mind was destroyed.

I'm kind of a hybrid. I do believe in a higher power that can guide a person, but I think all of the religious conceptions we have to date are wrong. Invented by humans to try and explain the unexplainable. I definitely don't believe when we die that we go somewhere else or become someone else. I think when we die, it's just "over". Which is fine by me, one life is enough.

Its obviously horriffic, but it'd be one of the more desirable means of death, if avoiding pain is a priority.
