What's the deal with duplicate threads?

Seems especially prevalent...especially in the heavies. Not that it's a new thing...it's been going on for years.

Are they supposed to get deleted, combined, something???

I know the search function sucks but it's ridiculous when people make new threads when there's already one active on the first or second page.

Have over time put forth a couple solutions to this to help the Dawg out and better sort the Heavies but alas, deaf ears, chap...deaf ears.

There's no examples posted from you so it's hard to say, but in general...

Sometimes a certain topic doesn't always equate to the conversation inside the thread. Some will be a slight variation of the topic. If it's the exact same thread such as a fight announcement and it's all within the first few hours it should be merged or only one thread kept.

Feel free to report them if you feel it's a duplicate.
