If I recall correctly it was Japanese in origin, and the characters depicted in it certainly were Japanese or at least Asian. The story involved protective suit-wearing people in the near future combing through a recently-destroyed city. They come across a droid/ robot assistant in the rubble and plug a cable into it, allowing them(and the viewer) to see the video data it captured. It starts with a scene of the droid between unboxed and activated by a family with a happy little girl. Subsequent scenes show sentimental moments of the girl’s growing up. The final video file is the girl’s wedding day, and as she exits the church there is a flash from a bomb or missile strike and debris crashes down as the file ends. This would have been from circa 2008.

There's this classical or baroque style song that was in a commercial when I was a kid. Its probably from a violin concerto or something. It sounds very similar to a couple different Vivaldi pieces but having gone through a bunch of his work I haven't come across it. I can barely remember what it sounds like, but when I listen to certain Vivaldi pieces or Palladio: Allagretto by Karl Jenkins it comes back to me a little more because they are similar.
