I was mentioning how one small decision had a domino effect. I am happy with my wife and my son and all of the friends I have met. I am stating how different that all could be.

I don't know where you're getting the "beta" comment from, I am assuming you're extracting that from the part where you said I would have been the tallest kid in my class. It wasn't a complaint in any regard as I was already developmentally ahead of my peers. But I guess that's something Sherdoggers always obsess about.
