true. I guess it depends where you learn it. In some places its very much a kick punch system rather than a clinch fighting system. Can you get good at muay thai without kicking much?

Definitely depends where you learn. Some camps are reknowned specifically for their clinch fighting but it's unlikely you'll find anywhere decent outside of Thailand but you will need to kick and knee and it will be much more elbow than punch from the clinch.

So basically punching/elbowing + a lot of clinch work that would be illegal in boxing (i.e. pulling your opponent's head into the punch, "wrestling" him on the feet)
