Could the UFC stop him announcing that he's starting his own organization with a partner even if he doesn't fight in it until his contract with them expires? I could imagine Conor picking up the second belt, solidifying himself as the number one draw and then saying if you want to see him fight again you have to either buy a ticket or his PPV because he's done with the UFC.

It might be a bit out there but it means that if he does want to negotiate a fight with Floyd Mayweather, as ridiculous as I think that is, then the UFC don't control Conor's cut of the purse. At this point Conor's name is something of a Brand and he could also get some major sponsors because he won't be prohibited by Reebok
